The delivery of paving slabs - 2 Hiab offload
Delivery by hiab offload (crane offload) is usually made when the size of the delivery is quite large - usually 50m2 or more. Of course smaller orders can be delivered as a part load but it often means waiting for the next hiab delivery. The tail offload delivery can be organised more quickly- usually within five working days, depending on orders in the pipeline. The maximum weight on the pallet for hiab offload can be increased to a maximum of two tonnes, but the usual weight is one and a half tonnes - approximately 13m2 of new yorkstone. The hiab is capable of lifting the pallets over hedges, fences, walls etc if required. The maximum an eight wheeler rigid wagon can deliver is 120m2 of average sized/thickness new yorkstone.
