Useful tips on buying old yorkstone - Tip 4
Useful tip number four. Old yorkstone from internal sources usually has some kind of covering/debris on the surface, such as a thin layer of concrete screed, paint, or lino etc. These have to be removed before they are sold. Usually the only way to remove the debris is by sandblasting, which makes brings up the origional buff colour to the yorkstone. Internal slabs look different from externally weathered slabs.
