Old yorkstone from internal sources usually has some kind of covering/debris on the surface, such as a thin layer of concrete screed, paint, lino etc. These have to be removed before they can be sold. Usually the best way to remove such debris is by sandblasting, which brings out the original buff colour of the york stone. more »
